About Bryan Leonard
Bryan Leonard is in his 27th season as a professional handicapper and has built his business on honesty and customer satisfaction, two traits not easily found in the competitive world of eleven-to-ten. Bryan knows it’s all about results, which means winning. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, his beloved professional teams (Brown, Cavaliers, Indians) have struggled to win championships for decades on the field, which partly drives him to beat the books consistently!
Bryan has been documented by The Sports Monitor and/or The Sports Watch for his entire career. He has participated in numerous basketball and football handicapping contests in Las Vegas. He finished second in the 2011 M Casino football contest, a second place finish in the 2005 Money Talks Invitational from the Riviera Casino in Las Vegas, first place in the Millennium Invitational Handicapping Contest, second place in the Vegas Sportswire Handicapping Contest in 2002 and second place in the Station Casinos All-Star Handicapping Invitational in 2001.
Bryan was the 2000 regular season champion of the Sunset Station Invitational Handicapping Contest, as well as the second place finisher in 2001. In fact, Bryan is the only handicapper to finish in the top five in three straight seasons. Bryan was also a Top 10 Finisher in the 2003 Hilton Superbook Contest as well as an invited guest in the prestigious 2003 Stardust Invitational.
He has authored and published The Roundball Report Basketball Newsletter, the Pigskin Report Football Newsletter and had a weekly football column covering the ACC and Conference USA in College Football News (2001-04). Bryan was also a featured writer for Insider Football Magazine.
Since moving to Las Vegas in 1997, Bryan has hosted his own daily radio handicapping show and is frequently sought after as an expert on many local and national sports handicapping shows.
A key tool in any handicapper’s arsenal is a solid group of power ratings, and Bryan is much sought after for his expertise. As a consultant to oddsmakers, he has seen the action on both sides of the counter and his numbers are regarded by industry professionals to be as strong as any in the country. His Cleveland’s sports teams may struggle to hit the big payoff on the field, but at the betting window Bryan Leonard knows all about winning — season after season!
