My free play for Sunday, February 5th is in the NBA Schedule game between the Grizzlies and Celtics. The Celtics have had their ups and downs this season, sitting at 12-10 on the year. Boston has enjoyed better success of late, winning three straight games and seven of their last eight. Still, their offense has been anemic and it has resulted in a 1-3 ATS record their last four games. The Celtics rank 25th in the league in scoring (90.3 ppg) and are a terrible rebounding team, ranking 29th (38.6 rpg). Meanwhile, the Grizzlies also have 12 wins this season. Memphis also leads the league in steals (243) which will put a lot of pressure on the Celtics stars, especially Rajon Rondo who is still nursing that sore wrist. While all eyes will be looking toward New England on Sunday, it’s the Patriots that most fans will be rooting for. I expect a very close game as both teams have excellent defenses and there shouldn’t be a lot of points scored here. With that being said, I have to take the points.
