LA Clippers banged up vs. Spurs in Game 2

The winning continues for Mr. Vegas on Thursday, May 17 as a pair of NBA plays with proven profit parameters highlight the card. One such situation we would normally support is on the LA Clippers to bounce back in Game 2 at San Antonio, Thursday, May 17, 2012, as the Spurs are again a double-digit favorite and covered as 11.5-point favorite in Game 1 thanks to 13-made 3-pointers. Don’t expect the same from San Antonio in Game 2 as the Clippers try to slow the pace of play and keep the Spurs off the glass.

Game 2 road underdogs in this price range with a winning record similar to the Clippers are a long-term profit producer, as the Pacers proved in their Game 2 upset and easy cover as big underdog at Miami.

But the Clippers will have a tough time in Game 2 as the injuries continue to mount with Blake Griffin battling a sprained left knee along with a turned ankle in Game 1 and star point guard Chris Paul still hobbling with a strained right hip flexor. Adding to the injury woes is a broken hand for Caron Butler, sore right hand of Mo Williams and a root canal for Nick Young on May 16.

So the Clippers are less than full health and along with the coaching mismatch, they will have a tough time bouncing back with not only a victory, but even an ATS cover as a double-digit underdog.
